Bio

Riva’s sound moves between driving, psychedelic techno, euphoric trance and progressive house, threaded with darker textures, softer moments and traditional influences from her Middle Eastern upbringing. Shaped by her British-Indian background and experiences across Hong Kong, South Africa and London, her sets are genre-fluid, energetic and emotionally charged.

A familiar face at FOLD since its opening weekend in 2021, Riva has played Body Movements, Maiden Voyage, fabric, CLUB RAUM and Boiler Room Festival, with mixes for BBC Radio 6 Music, Origins and Tehran Night. Her releases include MARICAS Records, Radiant Records, MUSA, Amniote Editions, Osàre! Editions and Borne Fruits.
