James Newmarch

Bio

Rarely does an event at FOLD go by without James Newmarch making an appearance. As Resident and Technical Manager, his influence is felt both in the booth and behind the scenes, where his focus on sound and lighting has helped shape the club’s identity.

His musical journey began at Corsica Studios through the long-running Jaded series, alongside regular appearances at HTBX London. A FOLD original from the beginning, James’ sound is heavy, driving and unpredictable, with a playful edge that keeps his sets moving. His infamous B2B with Voicedrone has become a fixture of UNFOLD.
